just double checked again on the ann on 11/03/08, BNB(and JV partner) just made about 72% (about $50M?)return on their investment on the land they bought just on October last year, sold to Meriton, not bad for 4 months work of not doing much. plus they still have half of the land left, so in effect they got it for nothing. So it seems land/real estate in good parts of Sydney/AUS is still very valuable. Also goes to show BNB still makes plenty of money despite current envirnment. definitely looking to topping up more if it keep going down : )
