I too was a bit annoyed that DSO wasn't making a profit, but further reading and remembering calmed me down.

They told us a long time ago a lot of the DSO was overburden to the Magnetite. It had to be stripped whether it was sold or not.

Secondly, the min take or pay on rail, and probably power and other contractors, means they may as well use them and sell a low grade product for something than pay the min take or pays and get nothing in return.

Onwards and upwards...I hope.
