JP already owned a greater percentage of BMG than SGQ when he chose to invest another $100k in BMG.
He hasn't bought any SGQ in the last 5 years.
Interestingly JP owned 14.61% of BMG before buying those extra $100k worth, so now up to a bit over 15% of BMG.
In the recent SGQ annual report JP owns 10,504,501 out of 589,190,937 total shares (Pg 61) or 12,588,178 (pg 19), which is either 1.78% or 2.17% of all shares on issue (I'm not surprised the company cannot get the number accurate)..
So the diversification you use would have had them invest more in SGQ, not BGM.
