    Texas is still recovering from Hurricane Harvey, but an even more powerful storm is already bearing down on the United States.

    This time, it's Florida that's in a state of emergency in anticipation of catastrophic winds and floods that could reach the state by this weekend.
    Hurricane Irma has roared into the Caribbean with record-setting force, bringing powerful winds and flooding rains. Irma's winds are the most powerful ever recorded for a storm in the Atlantic Ocean outside the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico (and if you include those regions, it's in the top five). Two other hurricanes have formed in the past 24 hours, Katia and Jose. Meteorologists are lost for words:
