Another great looking chart, the latest historical and forward LNG netback prices as at 29 Sep 2021. Next update to the LNG netback price due on the 18th Oct - should be really interesting given the events of the last week.
LNG spot prices have risen 900% in the last 8 (eight) months with S&P Global Platts assessing the current LNG price as above USD50 per mmbtu on Wednesday. The benchmark JKM (Japan Korea Marker) for November deliveries is $56.33/mmbtu as at Wednesday (up US$16.65 in a single day).
1 mmbtu = 1.055 GJ
