Yes, I agree, if we are not very very careful,it could happen here.Both Federal political parties have been , from time to time,reckless with our money.But this present Federal Labor Government,with apologies to Gough, must be the most fiscally reckless Federal Government in living memory.And yes I don't agree with Tony's generous handout to mothers. It's their choice to have children.
And yes, I agreed with the Liberals handing back some of our taxes (stolen through bracket creep)by reducing the marginal tax rates.It was well overdue.Although I did read somewhere, recenty, that a large portion of that reduction in income tax has already been seriously eroded, through bracket creep, of course.
