Lol, the system or at least the legal system here in Sydney is in denial, crime rates in certain parts are on the up thanks in kind to overdevelopment and immigrants who in most cases cannot speak english and potentially have checkered pasts from war ravaged regions, their kids get together (gangs) with others who feel the same disconnection and cite boredom for alot of their misdemeanours (crime) and some even do it simply for attention. All the while police are under immense pressure dealing with these elements taking up precious resources and its no surprise vigilante threats are emerging, was this policy on the run or was their simply no alternative?
Probably time for the government to slow its intake of immigrants anyway, given business are laying off workers as opposed to hiring and woudn't be fair to those already here who I'm sure wouldn't want to be without a job for too long, tough decisions still await, cheers
