It makes me sick that the ASX let this carry on for so long - the cheating rorters that were allowed to get away with this would have already made their millions, likely through borrowing against the 'value' of their stockholding knowing full well it was void of any true value, and distributing the funds elsewhere. In the process, they have also made a mockery of our stock exchange.
I hope that in the future the ASX and ASIC focus more on preventing situations like this occurring again rather than putting honest and hardworking companies under the microscope for the most minor of reporting mistakes/omissions.
