These organisations imo are not churches and should never have been registered as such. Any money these organisations make and send overseas should be taxed any they spend in Australia should not be if it is spent in ways that assist the community that is my position and I have said that before. In our society we protect the young, the vulnerable and those that dont know better at least that is what most of us aspire to which is why we had the Royal Inquiry into banks to protect the innocent and vulnerable for whatever reason. Not sure what you believe in but I believe in protecting people from predatory organisations which is part of our responsibility as citizens who can see through this type of organisation.
