I would love to be a director during a bear market as there is not much to do
Look at CHF (Chartered Pacific) it`s an investment company with directors and a CEO that do virtually nothing but burn through shareholders cash
Every decision they have made over the last few years has ended in complete failure but they continue to receive overinflated fees/salaries and super.
What ever happened to performance, folks?
The market has lost all hope in CHF to the point where it is trading at a massive discount to cash backing
It has $19 million worth of cash/blue chips, has other non listed assets with values unknown and has a market cap of around $7 million because I reckon the market is fed up with this board of losers
When a company is in this situation shareholders need to revolt and call for the company to be wound up! How can shareholders allow management to get away with paying themselves more money and risk making more and more mistakes.
The board by not realising that they lack skills needed are just looking after their own self interests. Pure greed!
