So you have confirmed the engineers achieved a pay increase greater than the average Australian. So much for the argument that the engineers have been hard done by.

Also the average figures have been inflated by the large wage increases that have been occurring in the mining industry/mining regions. The majority of Australians, including myself, did not get 5% wage increases.

Lets call a spade a spade here and stop hiding behind lies - the engineers are being driven purely by greed and are totally self interested. They do not really care about the future of the airline, the plight of the shareholders or the plight of the flying public.
