    Yep there are processes and mechanisms for TRYING to retrieve outstanding monies. Reality for most landlords if the tenant leaves owing money over and above their bond the chances of recovery are pretty much zero in the residential situation regardless of whether you have a payment order from the relevant residential tenancy agency. As despitecthe order you can't make them pay assuming you can actually find them.
