I'm in Singapore at the moment. Thailand is in lockdown. So is this place but I'd rather be here than there atm.
I had been in Singapore then Malaysia then Thailand and Myanmar, tracing the old Japanese death railway and also the old roads through Myanmar into China that were formed as supply routes during WW2. Started around Christmas time. A very interesting expedition. Got right up into far North Myanmar almost to the Chinese border (a beautiful, but sketchy place), not many foreigners in that part of the world, when all this shit started coming down.
A good mate has a place here, plus I have a sing bank acc and dosh from a previous job. So I'm going ok.
It's not Australia though.
