"Plug in to Hydro power of 200MW equates to 182,500 MTPA ."
Wirh ammonia prices currently over US$1,000 / tonne, that would be worth over US$182mill per year or A$250 million in annual revenue. With any reasonable profit margin, that would have to have a NPV of well over A$500 million, if not more like $1billion?
I'm only just starting to get some idea of what this green ammonia project might be worth. I wonder when the market will start to give the project some value in the sp and mc? Do we need to see the scoping study first or do some investors work out the potential for themselves?
The bonus is the phosphate project cash flow begins within the year and that project is easily worth at least several multiples of our current mc. So that should drive the sp much higher through this year and next while we wait for news and development of the green ammonia.
This Ukraine situation and rate hikes are getting some investors to cash up short term. Longer term for those holding or buying this weakness, the rewards should be much better than for any other stock that I know of.
