Minbos may very well have two significant advantages over competitors in producing green ammonia/hydrogen.The first has already been identified with Angola having possibly the cheapest green power (about 2c per kwhr green power versus about 8c of dirty power in China). On a cost basis Minbos should be a contender for producing the cheapest green ammonia/hydrogen in the world.
The second major factor is infrastructure. Other companies around the world are scrambling for green power sources - only to find that green power isn’t as plentiful as will be needed.
The 199mw Silverton wind farm in NSW cost AGL 450 million (construction completed in 2019). That Minbos doesn’t have to build this infrastructure is a huge advantage - even if the power it produces was produced at 2c per kwhr - which I doubt.
