It hardly matters what VCR was at years and years ago. It was obviously too high a price at that stage and people got carried away. No offence but its getting a bit tiresome when people keep harping on about where the SP was.

Todays action was very dissapointing considering the excellent news from Thoratec. This news should not be underestimated as it paves the way for LVAD use and a greater acceptance of these types of devices. In the long term its a great boost especially for VCR.

Good to hear more centers coming on board. I cant wait for the unconditional approval for the DT trial.....whats taking them so long !!

Anyway, going by VCR's projections of between 300-400 implants by the end of FY08, VCR will need a minimum of 20 implants per month to reach the minimum projection of 300. So far so good, in relation to the last couple of months as implants havesteadily gathered momentum. 40 a month would give them their higher projection of 400. Not out of the question if more centers get on board quickly.
