The restrictions in Australia are there because we have governments that don't have a clue and are pandering to please the green minority loonies. Other countries around the world do not take this silly stance and will be better of financially because of it.
I don't think safety is an issue, and we have plenty of areas where waste can be stored. we, of all countries are better off to be able to embrace this technology.
