Some 'take over of QBE' talks doing the rounds. Almost certainly a rumour started by a fund - they came out last time this stock was around $20 earlier in the year I seem to remember. Happy to see it go up meanwhile though.
Even if nothing materialises, this is a well run company with excellent economics. If earnings hold up, this is at about 10x EPS. Been a good buy for a while now.
