This is all well and good as long as you have cheap and reliable energy to convert the tyres........( idea or plant will never work in south Australia )
But with heap in other states ie NSW, Vic and Qld from government, part of the waste usage of tyres could be solved....
Also small amounts of shredded tyres is great in bitumen roads, as it makes traffic noise reductions in urban areas....
