I have looked pretty closely into coal bed methane, hotrocks (geothermal) and underground coal gasification (a clean coal technology) and satisfied myself that these all offer energy potential of significant commercial scale with considerable green/environmental gains.
My current exposure in these areas is EPG, GDY and CXY and I have a careful eye on probably more than 20 others.
Would anyone be able to suggest alternative green energy options that have definitely moved beyond the "interesting" stage and/or are potentially of significant commercial scale in the near to mid term, say <5-10yrs?
Rightly or wrongly I am currently excluding solar and wind because I have a perception that these cannot yet produce at the scale/potential scale of coal bed methane, hotrocks and underground coal gasification. I am open to other views on this too.
