Power transmission over telegraph poles. Kinda cute.
(Interesting exercise to compare the bandwidth of the multiple copper lines that used to run parallel to the train lines to a single optic fibre. Also interesting to note that in most cases the copper wires have been removed for salvage value but the poles still stand.)
