I think this update did tell us some things that we wanted to know (and didn't know)and yet not go against disclosure rules-
1. WHL is not in this to find oil/gas and then onsell quickly. They aim to be a bigger player in this industry.
2. The Farm-out process is still on track (still happening).
3. WHL is in confidential discussions with TWO multi billion dollar organisations. (better than one, so has more negotiating power)
4. A formal proposal from one of these organisations may be received in the short to mid-term. (short and mid-term are important!)
5 Management is confident of a positive outcome for share holders.
Together with the recent announcement of highly experienced members to the advisory panel, additional acquisitions and positioning with hierarchies for further opportunities, it tells me that WHL is deadly serious about capitalising on what we already have and developing a WHL for the future.
