i am curious about the other projects ADI has on the go, they seem to coming together at the same time..

plenty of lease action in live oak and karnes as usual, with the usual suspects all buying in their hudreds.. i think the chalks trend in the region is no secret any longer.

my view on a few wells in the region is changing by the week.. i have looked closely at the massive dual lateral well geosouthern have put in de witt county, geosouthern are very commited to the austin chalks only, and have had associations with Anadarko in wells in East texas, i think the activity by them with the well they built last year and the new on about to spud are targeting this exciting chalks trend that goes through liveoak, karnes and dewitt counties and beyond. along with the Bordovsky, hooks and baker wells of conocophillips, i can see there will be a number of wells either completed and on production or close to it, and maybe before we will testing kennedy.

Any discoveries are going to be announced through the likes of private companies like geosouthern, but i feel meridian who are also about to spud a well with their brand new orion rig will more than likely announce to their shareholders..

by my calculations i can see 7 wells in the sugarkane on current permits in dewitt and karnes, and in 5 wells in the sugarkane in live oak right now. with only one well, kunde 1 on production.. the formation seems to attract austin chalks specialists like geossouthern and merdian, and i am not including the hawthorn well a few miles north of out location, the jury is out there but i suspect their mapping well may be looking for the sugarkane also..

looking forward to the infamous AUT green light still, but imho its flashing amber right now, it could go any time...
