    Not surprised they are reviewing and updating their old policy which set royalties at 3-5% for the mining industry, and seeking greater local participation in mining over merely a direct equity stake. Every Government wants their share of the pie and local jobs. No different to Western countries through royalties and taxation, but the traders will make the most of the uncertainty until all the facts are known.
    Reading the article and previous Ministers' interviews they clearly want a viable lithium business, and an up-to-date Government policy. They're not out to kill the mining business or deter foreign investment.
