What I hate most about it tbh is all these West African countries already have better deals than Libs & Labor get us on our gas. And now the African countries are setting themselves up to take bigger slices of the pie.
Meanwhile Albo will roll over like a puppy and have his tummy tickled by any business lobby that agrees not to run a campaign against him. The gas cartel actually wrote their own f***ing tax policy FFS! Unsurprisingly they pay SFA tax & royalties.
The only way we're going to get a better deal in Australia is to vote minor parties in the Senate. They'll force the corrupted major parties to do something in order to keep themselves in government. But anyways I thought there ought to be more reward for investing in Africa due to higher risks, not less. But there you go, lesson learned. Anways I'm sure they'll come back with a compromise as you say.
