I was originally under the impression that Metex and the CSIRO were working on UCG but making it cleaner than other UCG processes.
Controlled Retracting Injection Point (CRIP)

it only mentions it can be stripped of much of it's CO2 content.
What exactly does that mean and how would they do that?
and were do they put the CO2?
