Hi folks,
Shorting is still strong with BOW.
On 12th May 2011 it was reported to be 44% short (ASX report). This was before the SP went "green on red day" (2nd June). Just checked the figure for yesterday 8th June. It was higher, 49% !
Bow gave their presentation at the ASX conference - Hongkong and Singapore on the 23rd May - the chronology suggests this presentation created a bit of interest and new buyers. However it looks as if the shorting is keeping a lid on the SP.
Don't know how long this high level of shorting will go on for and its purpose ( T/O or accumulation of a blocking stake). Does anyone know if BOA (Bank of America) was involved with the Arrow takoever? They are now above 5% in BOW.
Regards DB
