Whian Whian was a sad incident indeed.

It was a lawful tree felling operation on private property.

The protestors were trespassing and as you point out, jamming radio frequencies in the area ... that in itself is a chargeable offense.

My reading at the time from ABC reports is that the ambulance was indeed held up by protestors.

Commonsense, fact and science take a permanent holiday when righteous zealots are involved ... they are like fixated frenzied attack dogs and have to be prized off their hapless prey.

This is relevant to any immediate future MEL may be considering.
