wind power is a disaster can`t provide base power when demand high and wind only blows sporoadically. The cost of manufacturing and maintaining wind towers is very high for the limited energy they produce.When germany phases out nuclear power ,which it wont if it comes to its senses it will have to import power from the french nuclear powered grid.In Spain and i imagine germany is similar each green job cost in the order of $200,000 to create and the high costs of solar and wind energy have helped make spanish manufacture uncompetitive with other european nuclear powered countries . Until thorium reactors come in coal and some biomass are the only way to go as population increases.The chinese understadd this and are quite rightly heading the way .If you want wind and solar power population msut be cut immensely.
