stale opinions like your own are to the detriment of this country. How does making our universities more "exclusive" help Australia? How is heaping 100K of debt on people only just beginning their adult lives helping Australia? How does it help the economy?
Free market capitalism is what this is really about, and though capitalism is great it is not the answer to EVERYTHING, like so many far righters believe. I think you need to redo your maths and really consider the effect crippling young people with debt brings to this country. There are no benefits, people travel from around the world to study at our universities, they are fine.
