There's been a tremendous amount of negativity here, but SWF seems to be turning the corner. There's signs of recovery.
The impact of Stake's ultra-low brokerage should now be taking effect, but I can't see much impact on SWF at all. Active traders are still continuing to grow. Client cash is increasing. Trades are steady. Where is this predicted collapse from increased competition?
At some point we need to come back to reality and see that the main competition is not Stake, Superhero and whatever cheap broker comes next. The competition is Commbank and NABTrade, and this is where SelfWealth continues winning.
The facts of SWF are:In my opinion, SWF has been oversold due to a fear of Stake which hasn't eventuated and the value of SelfWealth is significantly higher than the current market cap.
- Active Traders are growing and there's more than 120,000 of them.
- The average active trader has a portfolio of around $70,000.
- The average active trader has around $5,500 of cash in their SWF account.
