'Green steel' premiums to become commonplace within the next decade, additional premiums for low-carbon ‘green steel’ are currently still a bit of a niche market, but they will become the norm in the next three-to-10 years, according to panelists at Fastmarkets’ International Iron Ore conference in Düsseldorf, Germany, this week. “Green steel is a niche market because it’s fairly new, but it will eventually become a license to operate,” Anesan Naidoo, Anglo American's head of sales and trading (iron ore)
