Morphine is a controlled drug and potentially deadly and it’s not going anywhere and is the most common first line choice. It’s low cost is probably the biggest hurdle for Penthrox to overcome.

Broader application is needed for Penthrox in the UK, kids etc. I don’t understand why they don’t have that by now. The trial has seemingly been going on for years. Must have cost a fortune by now!! Penthrox requires a coherent and cooperative patient given it’s self administered, so it is never going to be a one drug solves all incidences of pain approach

I was told by ex CEO that margins in UK were skinny, like sub 35%. So it has to be a volume play which it clearly isn’t at present. Might be time for a new partner or go it alone. But the later would be more cash burn
