IMO, Lynas has already no choice but go to the court to appeal any new condition for the license. Accept any offer is not fair for existing shareholders.
AL can ask DrM to let LAMP operate. DrM doesn't like AL. He showed his weak point from being used by WES without technical study and make quick decision. He must want to get relief from Japanese pressure because he believe LAMP can continue to operate if Lynas is sold to somebody else. He does not care AL at all or even feel good to have a kind of undercutting discussion with somebody else. So if AL ask DrM to operate during the case but DrM reject, DrM need to explain to Japan.
Kick the ball back to DrM and his cabinet.
