I'm sure it would be prudent of car manufacturers or the battery manufacturers to get it happening, maybe even local or federal government could help out since they are trying to reduce pollution. I don't see that as being huge barrier now that everyone is getting on board with the concept. I think it will happen sooner rather than later, but they are also trying to develop batteries that last 3, 4, 10 times the distance than what they do now (which you probably already know ).
