    Yep it wouldn't hurt to back burn in favourable conditions.
    Also Cattle do a wonderful job of eating "fuel".
    Of coarse there still will be bushfires but reduce the amount of fuel on the ground and they will be more controllable.
    I havent seen this subject covered in any of the other threads.
