Hi Lets lay the blame with the Shires who have bought in these fines and rules regarding clearing dead trees picking up wood from the roadside etc. The older ones had their concerns voted out as ratepaters and were faced with hefty fines if they worked as they had done many years ago. The Electric providing companies have had to get the shires permission before any tree lopping in various townships Clear the bush if it needs to be by annual burnings in those areas that have not been burnt then make it happen.
