    Hi Elroy

My brother lives or lived on Mount disapointment in Wondong and he lost his home, thank god he did not lose his life, a friend rang him to tell him there was a fire and to check it out, he is on 80 acres, there abouts so he walked to the gate to have a look, his neighbour was on her way over to let him know there is a fire, at this stage the severity of the fire was not known to him or his neighbour, he took note of where the fire was and timed it just out of instinct, and that is what saved him,"i looked back two minutes later and i thought Im out of here" the fire had moved that quickly. He put his dog in the car and his clothes and got out, I actually phoned him as he was leaving, he was in a panick, unfortunately so many people dont have the vantage points to be able to look from a distance.

He was one of the lucky one's he got away with his life, the material things mean nothing.

condolances to anybody that has lost loved one's or friends.
