Have a look at the average age of the leaders of the doomsday cults...and you'll find that most of them are stareing down the barrel of there own mortality.
Most of them have been screaching about one thing or another, since the day they hit the ground running.There parents fought the 2 great world wars.On balance it is them that have consumed like no others , they are the it's all about me generation.And now faced with there own mortality there saying its got to be all over for everyone. they will obviously go out the way they came in yelping nonsense.
They have managed to indoctrinate a small section of there syblings ..but the answers lie elsewhere.Those with a positive outlook.
There are vast amounts of under developed agricultural land throught the world , we already produce enough food the feed the worlds population , we have science that can make agricluture vastly more productive. we have alturnative energy resources that are under developed, we have the ability to create compounds to balance the need for over exploitation of finite natural resources , all it takes is a positive approach.But unfortunatly that dosent suit the politically motivated squeelers about to drop off the mortal coil.
