It appears that not all the political parties in Greenland are happy with the new Minerals Strategy in it's current format - big on the rhetoric but lacking in action it seems!
Looks like it will be an interesting consultation period in December - IMO, this has been the problem all along for the emerging mining industry in Greenland, and that the Government has been divided on issues concerning the mangement of raw materials, which doesn't help when they are trying to get new investment.
I just hope that they are all on the same page after the consultation period and  that a positive message is sent to the International Mining Community.

It's all very nicely. But it is not clear to the outside world what Greenland wants to do with its raw materials. Our effort is to go to the PDAC conference. When it comes to taking action, we do nothing. We do not invest a penny in infrastructure that can support the mining industry. We appear unprofessional, and at the same time we have one of the world's highest corporate taxes and a royalty policy at the level of better-developed mining countries. It is not linked, and this strategy will not attract more companies to the country."
