As to thermohaline circulation, I wonder about the Antarctic convergence. More melting from below and along the edges of the Antarctic Ice Sheet seems to mean fresher and thus less dense surface Antarctic seawaters.

The Antarctic Convergence is a natural boundary where cold dense seawater sinks and nutrient rich deepwater rises. I wonder about any long term drift in the position of this natural boundary.
