First time contributor and long term follower of ETM...

With many countries joining BRICS across the globe, which requires having tangible assets to back each country's currency, why would any politician in their right mind stand in the way of developing a natural resources that would put more people to work and back their country's currency? Or are these politicians who are standing against the exploitation license for ETM trying to keep all foreign companies out of Greenland with the hope of nationalizing this deposit for their own gain somewhere down the road?
