Reading the article, in my opinion, the people who seem to be nervous seem to miss that the IA people in the new government had come out and made it clear that it is not mining that they consider a problem, it is mining Uranuium, it is mining radioactive elements. Denmark, Greenland and a majority of the Greenland people (as confirmed in recent polls) and other European countries as well have been opposed to Uranium mining for many years and continue to advocate for zero tolerance for Uranium mining. This is not a new policy for the new government, they campaigned and now are keeping the promises they made in the election, as they move to stop for Kuannnersuit from mining Uranium which they had said they would do during the campaign. Unfortunately for Greenland Minerals, but also not new information is the fact Uranium is interlaced and found as a part of most of their ore in most the deposit they had planned to exploit including selling Uranium .

Again, in my opinion, the new government is not against mining. They are and have been for some time, against mining Uranium. Ther are many minerals in Greenland, Ia in only stopping the mining of Uranium and Radioactive materials, which Greenland Minerals agreed to allow in an agreement they signed in 2013, again this is not new news.
Again they are not against mining. They are ardently, and have been for some time, against any Uranium or radioactive element mining at all. Although it is unfortunate news for Kuannersuit, it should not be surprising news, IA made it very clear during the election campaign that if elected they would stop the Kuannersuit project because they would not allow Uranium mining at all in Greenland. It is one of the reasons they won the election.
It should also be noted that the Greenland People when polled recently as to there attitude as to whether Greenland
Minerals should be allowed to mine at Kuannersuit. The poll showed that the majority of the Greenland People did not want Greenland Minerals to be allowed to mine uranium at Kuannersuit at all.
