In the past I always celebrated Australia Day on Jan 26th with my family but I feel differently now. I honestly couldn't care less if the date were changed to a date that is more inclusive. If this day represents genocide to our First Nations people then we should change it to a date that we can all be happier with. It should be more about coming together and a celebration of our country of what it is today. My need to have it on January 26th is less important than their need to change it.
