But the best documentation is kept secret to preserve the wealth of knowledge in the possession of the caretakers of the land.

There are drawings of sailing ships from more than 250 years ago--so they knew there were whites long before the British arrived. There are paintings of now extinct megafauna.

There are cryptic spiritual messages that they won't divulge and there are secret meeting places for initiation and passing on knowledge to the next generation.

The IQ of the natives is much higher than any white man who would be silly enough to try and live off the land in the north or interior.
