Not much has changed since those days but only now they can blame what ever they can think of to justify their behavior towards women and kids.I read the account of an early settler in East Gippsland and his first encounter with Aborigines ,he had his wagon pulled over on side of the track where he and his wife were camping for the night when along came a young Aboriginal male on the trot ,he had 2 women in front of him and they each had a leg of wallaby over their shoulders and every time they slowed they received a belt across the backside with a stick.
