I think you need some greater education about the rest of the political history... but so far as selling to the Americans: We sell a pin and they sell us 50 tanks -all useless, all much more expensive then the pin, of they'll make some use but of which tanks we'll only use to fight their wars. We've got the Simpson Desert on offer for them to bury their nuclear waste -tonnes and tonnes coming from there, from Uk and from all the countries with which the US and UK will make sleazy "deals" with.

Now that puts the wind up my skirts, I tell you!
