SARAH HANSON-YOUNG: No I don't see any concerns in relation to that. I think that myth that people are attracted to flee persecution and seek protection is untrue. It's a myth, it needs to be debunked and the Minister has a responsibility - as do all political leaders - has a responsibility to debunk that myth. It's simply not true.
is she saying that people do not remove themselves from a country in order to escape possible persecution?
i dont follow....is she implying that the millions in africa who run from one country to the next, eg sudan, are not in fear of their life?
