I think you'll find that IO and TIN went off the boil back then...if we had started mining either Riley or Mt Lindsay, the mines would have been uneconomic very early into their mine life.
While it's been a long, frustrating haul for long-termers like me, I'm glad we didn't jump the gun back then and then have to moth ball the mines. We're now in a much stronger position than we ever were.
