By way of refusing to acknowledge the marked differences between the impact of Raw Black Coal and the newer and safer, varieties of Brown Coal derivatives the Greens throw a blanket over the debate and feed a social stigma that is in itself a misnomer. Due to the 'self-instated authority on the environment' taking such an ignorant stance, the healthier Brown Coal Industry can't seem to shake off the 'bad-boy' tag and therefore the environmental healthier offerings it has for humanity and the environment are barely represented.
This dire situation could be prevented altogether if the Greens simply opened their collective perception beyond their prehistoric appreciation for the four letter word 'Coal'.

Only when the above has been achieved will we see informative and evolutionary discussions on how to deliver better health and efficiency to the pertinent Industrial processes that currently process Brown Coal. There are many types of processes being used and some range from iusing Brown Coal in shandy-style fuel mixes to using some dewatered Brown Coal derivatives as a pure source of fuel in place of more dangerous Black Coals.

From a humanity point of view, revolutionary changes in thinking like this could alter cultures, poverty levels and the happiness/welfare of secluded and disadvantaged people the world over.
For example, if the revolution of Brown Coal was widely enough publicised - globally - for a community which does not have easy access to water or electricity due to money issues nor power stations due to logistical/political issues but who do have deposits of Brown Coal in their immediate area (Lignite is more common than Black Coal) they could be using simple techniques to obtain potable water, fuel and potentially money - all of which would provide economic and cultural benefits.

But here we have the Greens dumbing down, nay, vexatiously vilifying Coal on a whole and on a global scale, in cahoots with like-minded movements who each give wind to the others sails and prevent intelligent discussions about how to deal with a shortage of fossil based resources in the least harmful and most efficient way possible, for the benefit of both the environment and mankind - in one foul swoop.
